Fazenda Leeds Review

Fazenda Leeds

So it was Jack birthday the other day, and any excuse for me not to cook ill jump at it! You can read about moving out here.  I know Jack is a sucker for a good bit of meat, and I must say I am growing to like steak.  So for his birthday I thought I would take him out to Fazenda which is unlimited meat! What more does a guy want?  When you think of All you can eat, you think the quality is going to be bad, but no, the quality of the meat is top notch! On a lunch time, its priced at £17.95 per person which you get meat and salad bar for that price. On a night, it’s a little more expensive at £30 per person however you do get a lot more choice of meat then on a lunch!

So at Fazenda, they have the salad bar of dreams, you have smoked salmon, to sushi, to sweet potato wedges to actual salad. I would be willing to pay just for the salad bar (well maybe not the full price).

You get a round card with red or green, and you turn it over depending on if you are feeling the meat they are bringing round. I felt like Jack had one bit of meat, then turned his card red. My card was green... Also if your card is red for a while, a waiter/waitress will come round and ask if there is any in-particular meat you want, and how you like it cooking.

A little heads up, when you get there, everyone goes a little crazy on the salad bar (including me) then you don't have enough room for the meat later on.

The decor is lovely, it was quiet when we went as it was like 5pm!
The service was absolutely fantastic, any requests or anything they would sort! And bonus as it was Jack Birthday, he got a birthday cake (which I ending up eating), it was delicious.

Have you ever eaten at Fazenda? Do you like the sound of it? Whats your favourite restaurant?

Lots of love,
Nicole xxx

My Actual Morning Routine

I really wish I was a morning person.. Its takes me around 2 hours to even feel half awake! I have finally found the motivation to wash my face on a morning, however I don’t feel like it’s worth getting out of bed 5 minutes earlier, as my skin is currently at its worst! You can read about my May Favourites, which mentions the product finally helping my skin.

My Actual morning routine
Image not mine

6.am Alarm goes off, snooze and snooze until 6.25 where I actually get out  of bed.

6.25 wash my face and attempt to brush my mop brush of hair.

6.35 head downstairs to make Jack and I lunches and breakfast (we both take breakfast to work)

6.45 Mop around, still trying to wake up

6.50 Get side tracked by social media, and end up watching random videos on YouTube, (the one this morning was world’s scariest waterslides)

7.10 Ah man I am running late, let’s face the facts that my hair will have to just be tied up and minimal makeup will be worn.

7.30 looking for clothes to wear, and just thinking I really wish I kept on top of my washing. All my clothes were still in the washing pile. Right ill just whack that top on, and put a scarf over it, no one will know it’s got toothpaste down it.

7.40 Ah already for the morning traffic,

So that's my morning routine, not glamorous one bit haha!

What's your morning routine like?

Lots of love,
Nicole xxx

May Favourites

I cannot believe we are in June already, like half way through the year.. scary! I have been feeling all the months at the moment merging into another, which is why I haven't done a favourites video in forever, so anyway here goes of what I have been loving the month of May.

So I think L'Oreal is killing their skincare range at the moment, I recently did a review on their clay mask which you can read here. I have always suffered from bad skin, spots and just in general my skin looking dull. However this Pure clay purity wash, is doing wonders.  I use it every night and morning, it does make my skin feel a lot fresher and just clean. Then if I add the pure clay mask on afterwards, aaaah baby skin (Well that's what I think anyway).

Right dry shampoo, what did we all do before that! I try to wash my hair every other day, but I can only do every other day, if I use dry shampoo. Not only is it a hair saviour, but also so helpful to add volume to your hair.

Samples, so we all love a good old freebie or just a little tester. So one of my favourites this month, is samples.. seems silly saying it, but I love just trying out new products before getting the full size version. However I must say I am liking this Vichy sample.

Brow Kit, now I already know this is going to be in my end of year favourites. This is by my go to products for brows. Sleek makeup is so on point, and this brow kit just tops it off!

Do you like any of the favourites I have mentioned? What are your favourites?

Lots of love,
Nicole xx
