Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

For some reason, I am always willing to splurge out on eye shadows but try save on all other beauty products. I just love finding a really pigmented eye shadows that blends well. My new favourite eye shadows are.. Makeup Geek Eye.shadow. These are incredible. So the eye shadow shades I bought are Casino, Frappe, Cosmopolitan and lastly but not least Prom Night. I can't wait to try these out with my Ted Baker eye shadow palette, which you can read the review of here

How cute is this little trinket dish, you can buy it here

I went with orangery/ coral shades which is a bit out of my comfort step as I am use to wearing browns. These colours though blend out beautifully.

Z Palette

I cant wait to start building up my Z palette, it looks a little bare right now!

Feel Unique Pick and Mix box is the best way to try samples. Then you can tell from the sample if you like the product or not so your not wasting your money.

So you have a choice of hundreds of samples and you pick 5. You can refine the options to Hair, Beauty etc etc. Then they get sent out like that, simple as that!  The only cost is £3.95 for delivery however £3.95 is redeemable on your next shop. So you pick and mix items are free pretty much!! Woo for free makeup.

Will I ever find a concealer that actually covers my spots?! Hopefully this product will do the job!

Bioderma Cleansing Foam
So I want to add new products into my Skin Care routine which you can read here. So if I get on well with this product, ill be buying a full size version of it. This is priced at £9.50

Kiehls Super Multi Corrective Cream
I have always wanted to try Kiehls products, but they always seem really expensive, where as trying a sample I can see if I actually like the product before buying it. It is priced at £48.

Dream Travel Destinations

So many holidays  goes through my mind on a daily basis, dreaming of where to visit next. Sadly I don’t ever have enough money to do all the travelling I want. Anyway we can dream. I did this post a year ago which you can read here, but I thought I would do an updated post of where I want to visit.

Dream Travel Desintations
Tokyo
New Zealand
San Francisco
Fiji

Tokyo
It just looks incredible! However the flight time from UK to Tokyo is 13+ hours, so I have heard the rest of Japan is incredible. So I really want to tour round Japan!

New Zealand
This has ALWAYS been my dream destination to go to! So I thought next time I go to Australia which you can read about my time in Perth here, I could tie it in!

San Francisco
Who doesn't want to go to the Golden Gate Bridge! It looks incredible. A cool trip would be doing a road trip around America!

Fiji
Ah Fiji, Fiji! What a amazing place it looks. The one downside is the distance from the UK to Fiji, its a 19+ hour flight. Looks like I have a big trip coming up soon with Australia and New Zealand and Fiji! Sorry jack.

So yeah they're my dream destinations for this year! For some reason I much prefer Long Haul trip.. strange I know. You can read my tips for surviving a long haul flight here .

Where would you like to visit? Have you been to any of these destinations?

Lots of love,
Nicole

My Go To Guide To Perth

So it has been about 4 months since I’ve been back from Australia, but let’s say this post is better late than never? I think Perth will always been a special place for me, as I grew up there and lived there until I was 7 so yeah, it is definitely my second home.
I just thought I would put some pictures together of my time there and you can really see how beautiful the place is!

Kings Park
This is just a beautiful memorial, which is surrounded my the most wonderful gardens. Have a walk around the gardens, you definitely won't regret it! Also have a trip up here on a night, the most incredible views of the city all lit up!

Perth
Rottnest Island
Now this is where I spent a lot of my childhood including any long weekends. And I finally went back there having not visited it in 10 years. It is the definition of beautiful! You get a ferry across to the island and it only takes 20 minutes. You can hire bikes or walk or catch a bus that you hop on and off when you want. There are little creatures  called Quokkas, they almost look like mini kangaroo's! Don't worry you will see one, there are about ten thousand on the island!

Rottnest Island

Fremantle
This is definitely worth a visit! When you go, you kinda feel like you've gone back in 20 years, which is kinda strange and really cool at the same time. There are tons of museums around, which most of them are free. And there is also a old prison which I didn't get to visit, but heard it is really interesting!

This picture is from google.

The City
I may be biased, but it's such a lovely place. The city is so clean. They have been investing a lot of money in the city of Perth, so there is some lovely food and bars including shops also!

Have you ever visited Australia? Have you ever visited Perth? Where would you recommend?

What I have learnt from Blogging

Hello!! So I think I have been blogging now for around 3months and I must say I am loving it. There are certain things I have learnt from Blogging.

·         Support each other (not saying that I didn’t know this before) but commenting on other people blog posts.
·         Don’t compare yourself, with just starting out it is easy to think eh why haven't I go so many followers yet (well duh it doesn’t happen over night).
·         Don’t put pressure on yourself to always have to blog, the other week I had no ideas so I didn’t blog for two weeks, after all it is still a hobby and should be enjoyable not stressful.
·         Don’t care what anyone else thinks.. I didn’t start blogging for ages as I thought of what other people will say. Well why, we aren’t in school anymore and who cares if someone thinks your blog is c**p?!

·         Blog about what you love!! I love rambling about absolute all sorts and find it easy to blog about that rather than doing something you are passionate about rather than something you feel like you should write about.
Image not mine.

What have you learnt? Do you agree with what I have said?

Lots of love,
Nicole xxx
