My Day to Night makeup

Hello!! So I thought I would share my day to night makeup.. I put much heavier makeup on if I know I’m going out as I want my makeup to stay on and not go patchy half way through the night. I would say my base stays the same, Moisturize, Prime, Foundation then setting my face. I always like to attempt to contour although I can never seem to master it. I try to contour using my Clinique chubby stick which I put on my beauty blender as I feel like it goes on nicer. Then I’ll use my Hooler bronzer which just adds a bit my colour into my face as I wear quite a high coverage foundation it take all the colour out my face.
I keep my eyebrows the same. The thing I change most is my eyeshadows. I always stick to brown eye shadows as I feel comfortable using them.. might step out of my comfort zone eventually. I tried to make them as smoky as possible then add some eye liner and if I'm going all out ill add some eyelashes as well. I love Eylure lashes as I think they are so so easy to apply.
Image not mine
I sometimes have a red lip just depending on how patient I am as I normally get it all over my face and end up looking like a clown. So I usually stick with a nude or a pink lip. Then I spray my face with lots of my urban decay all-nighter spray and have a glass of prosecco then I’m ready for the night!!

What do you change on your makeup when going out? Do you like Eylure lashes?

 Lots of love, Nicole x

Afternoon tea at The Royal York Hotel

Hello!!
So one of my all-time favourite thing to do is have afternoon tea. When it came to deciding what to give my mum for her birthday I thought let’s think of a present that we would both enjoy. So on Saturday we went to the The Royal York Hotel  for afternoon tea and it was delicious. The staff we very attentive and explain clearly what everything was.

We had a glass of champagne and we were given a selection of teas to choose from. I chose the Green Tea
These bits were like a starter. I would try explain what these are but I cannot remember but they were very tasty!!
Then we had finger sandwiches (egg and cress and some kinda salmon sandwich), scones with clotted cream and jam then onto the cakes.
I have recently joined Slimming world so this is definitely a cheat day however so worth the calories!!

Do you like afternoon tea? Have you been to the The Royal Hotel before? Where would you recommend for Afternoon Tea?

Lots of Love,
Nicole

A Little Trip to Barcelona

Hello!!

So I have just arrived home from Barcelona.. well on Sunday and the holiday blues are kicking in. However writing this post will help me relive the laughs that I had on my trip.

So we had an early flight on Thursday and arrived in Barcelona at our hotel at around 11.30 am so a lot of the day to play with. The hotel was gorgeous however I didn't take any picture of it, so these are pictures from the internet. It was a fantastic hotel and would seriously recommend it!

The weather wasn’t brilliant however so we wore coats most the time, managed to wear shorts once. We hired bikes on the Friday which was lovely cycling along the beach front then chilled by the beach, however you get a lot of people coming up to you asking if you want to buy certain thing (draining).

We were also meant to go to the Olympic park however got lost of route and had already walked 10.5 miles by this point so we headed back to get showered and headed out for the evening.
We ate gorgeous tapas and Potato Barvas such a weird concept but delicious. They were potatoes in like a creamy spicy sauce.

Barcelona

One thing I was shocked about in Barcelona is the little amount of cocktail bars and when we found somewhere that sold them, it was a very restricted choice.  So we stuck to wine… not complaining!
We ended up going to La Rambla and walked around there and had some delicious pizza and ice cream (the picture doesn't give it justice).
Barcelona

Then we had a our one last boozy night which we were meant to go to the magic fountains however we got lost on the metro and had to get a taxi back to the hotel. However we watched the fountains  on YouTube (not the same experience but still... ) Then the next morning it was home time. Overall I would definitely recommend going to Barcelona, even though we didn't see too many sights, the atmosphere was lovely.

Have you been to Barcelona? Would you like to go? Do you like potato barvas?

Lots of Love,
Nicole xxx
